Sweet and Savory Bread Sticks
Try this tasty tapas recipe with Tapeña Tempranillo.
Makes about 12 - 18 sticks.
1 package of long bread sticks
4 ounces of local honey
1 - 4 ounce package of sliced prosciutto
1) Cut the prosciutto slices lengthwise into 1 - 1 1/2" strips, gently pull the slices apart.
2) Completely coat 4" of the stick with a thin layer of honey.
3) Starting at the top of the honeyed end of the stick, wrap a slice of the ham down and around to the end of the honey.
4) Stand the ungarnished end of the stick into a cup to store and hold while you continue to do the rest of the sticks.
5) Serve soon after.
